James Shieh
James Shieh, a native of Chicago, is a published and award winning designer with 15 years experience. A graduate of UT, he was a commercial designer for several design firms, where he completed recreational, ecclesiastic, public and retail projects.
James has also helped design some of the most exquisite estate homes in Austin and developed relationships with the premier tier of contractors in central Texas. With his talent of refined design and intricate details, he has designed in various price points from sub-market to thousands of dollars a square foot. James has the versatility of “out-of-the-box” thinking to offer the best options to all our clients.
In addition with a personal history in real estate investments and as partner in Shieh Properties, in 2006, James was appointed a City of Austin Commissioner of Zoning and Platting and served as Vice Secretary of the Commission. He is now serving on the City of Austin Design Commission.
